Offering dance classes for all ages (2 – Adults) and multiple styles (Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Acro/Tumbling)
Our Mission
Dancer Strong is devoted to developing physical strength, mental strength, and grace through the proper training and sound education of today’s dancers. We strive to maintain a positive environment where dancers will thrive. Our traditional values help our dancers build confidence through hard work and personal achievement. Each dancer will learn that hard work and dedication will help them reach their goals in dance and in life.
Our team
Our team consists of highly qualified and motivated professionals, who are all experts in their field. With many years of experience in the industry, they have the expertise to provide comprehensive, first-rate services to our clients.
Carla Mullendore
Carla Mullendore began dancing over 35 years ago. She has been teaching for over 25 years, dancing professionally for over 24 years, and involved in the competition world for over 25 years. In addition, Carla has worked for more than 20 years as a fitness professional.
Sam Howard
Ms. Sam grew up in Orange County, California and began her dance training at Showtime Dance Company, transitioned to West Coast School of the Arts where she trained in a professional environment, also worked with Debbie Allen in her production of The Hot Chocolate Nutcracker 3 years, trained at Southland Ballet Academy, and modeled for dance magazines.
Amy Leon
Amy Leon began her formal ballet training in Dallas, Texas, under the direction of Ceyhun Ozsoy, former Ballet Master of the Ankara National Ballet Company. trained at Belhaven University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance with an emphasis in ballet performing and teaching and with an English Minor, having twice received the Bezalel Award for artistic achievement.
